Overview
Supports the design, planning, development, and validation of assigned projects within the Counter-Terrorism Directorate. Ensures CT projects and programmes are developed coherently, coordinated, and strategically.
Tasks Summary
- Identify, formulate, and develop concept notes and project proposals addressing counter-terrorism priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce concept notes and project proposals with budget and resource estimates.
- Design cross-cutting initiatives by consolidating business requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of the global counter-terrorism threat landscape and policy developments.
- Map and monitor counter-terrorism programming by international and regional actors.
- Maintain and update the repository of current and past projects.
- Support teams in drafting project management products, including logical frameworks, risk registers, and budgets.
- Undertake quality assurance of project documents and reports.
- Facilitate coordination within the directorate and monitor follow-up actions.
- Prepare for and support quarterly CT Project Steering Committee meetings.
- Assist in planning and facilitating workshops and meetings.
- Deliver presentations on project portfolio-related topics.
- Promote best practice exchange among project managers.
Experience Requirements
Experience in project and programme development, lifecycle support, and project management community engagement.
