YOUNET APS IFOM Volunteer opportunity: ESC: long-term project in youth organisation in Bologna
The volunteers will be actively embedded in the multiethnic and stimulating environment of Bologna by exploiting the activities and the network of contacts of IFOM. They will be involved in activities connected with the promotion of EU values between young people and adults. The volunteers will be involved in supporting the implementation of learning mobilities activities addressing European students coming to Italy or going abroad for vocational practice (VET-Vocational and Educational Training). Volunteers will support the activities from a logistic and networking point of view. The volunteers will support the team with translations, documents preparation, cultural visits in other cities and accompanying students and teachers during the visits in working places. Together with other volunteers, they will be involved in organisation and implementation of the local activities such as workshops in the schools and linguistic tandems (in person and online). Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The volunteer will share the room with another volunteer (same gender) in a flat with all facilities, shared with other international volunteers. The flat is composed by 2 double bedrooms, 1 toilet, small kitchen and dining room. There are wi-fi and a washing machine. The volunteers will have a monthly food allowance to buy food and basic needs. The volunteers will cook their own meals. The volunteer will have available a monthly or annual bus ticket for the city of Bologna. Training during the activity General Online Training, Linguistic support, Pre-departure training, On-arrival training, Mid-term evaluation, Annual European Solidarity Corps events. Volunteers will attend training with non-formal methods about the development of soft skills. Participant profile We are looking for motivated and active volunteers, willing to stay for the entire period of the project. *The Polish-speaking candidates will have the priority in the selection.
