Overview

Multiple vacancies exist in Software Engineering, focusing on System Analysis and Software Engineering roles. The positions support the N-E3A mission software, sensor software, and ground support software engineering aspects.


Tasks Summary
  • Analyze engineering change requests for possible solutions and impact on design, implementation, integration, verification, validation, operation, certification, and life cycle maintenance.
  • Direct, perform, and assess system and software related engineering tasks according to defined processes and accepted engineering practices.
  • Support the Branches' effort to provide technical support to the project portfolio and manage the product catalogue.

Experience Requirements
  • For Principal Technician – Software Engineering: 3 years function related experience with Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training, OR 5 years post related experience with Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training.
  • For System Analyst – Software Engineer: 2 years function related experience with University Degree, OR 4 years post related experience with Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training.
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management (for System Analyst – Software Engineer).
  • Experience in leading a team or project (for System Analyst – Software Engineer).
  • General up-to-date knowledge of software engineering life cycle models, methods, techniques, metrics, and tools.
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, develop, integrate, and test systems.
  • Proven ability to work structured and systematically.
  • Proof of experience with multiple computer programming languages.
  • Familiarity with latest trends in software engineering (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization, DevSecOps, AI/ML integration).

Qualification Requirements
  • For Principal Technician – Software Engineering: Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training leading to a formal technical or professional certification, OR Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation.
  • For System Analyst – Software Engineer: University Degree, OR Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation.

Languages Required: Good command of English.

Remuneration: • System Analyst – Software Engineer: Basic Salary: 7,452.25 EUR Monthly • Principal Technician – Software Engineering: Basic Salary: 5,987.11 EUR Monthly
