Overview

The Systems Development Analyst (Cloud) role supports the stability, scalability, and efficiency of UNV’s cloud-based systems and development operations, contributing to the organization’s digital platforms and services.

Tasks Summary
  • Support management of applications deployed in Kubernetes environments and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Monitor performance and health of Azure-based infrastructure components and contribute to system metrics analysis.
  • Assist in establishing a robust monitoring and alert notification system.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues within the cloud infrastructure and document root causes.
  • Suggest improvements and script/automate repetitive maintenance tasks.
  • Provide L3 level support for infrastructure-related issues escalated from the service desk.
  • Investigate and diagnose complex issues in the Azure cloud and DevOps environment.
  • Support root cause analysis for major incidents.
  • Log and document incidents and their resolution steps.
  • Contribute to proposals and implement improvements or reconfigurations in the system setup.
  • Draft and update knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of standard user documentation, technical guidelines, and operational manuals.
  • Capture lessons learned from operations, deployments, and support incidents.
  • Disseminate best practices and insights to team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in knowledge networks and communities of practice.
Experience Requirements

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at the national or international level in managing Azure-based mission-critical business applications.

Qualification Requirements

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline is required. OR A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
