Internship in the Video Section of the Department of Global Communications, assisting in video production for various products.

Tasks Summary

• Assist in script writing
• Caption videos in language
• Edit videos using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Perform design and animation
• Assist in studio recordings
• Assist in analytics of video products
• Perform research on content distribution channels

Experience Requirements

No working experience is required.

Qualification Requirements

• Enrolled in or completed a graduate school programme in communication, journalism, international relations, public administration, English or translation studies (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
• Enrolled in or completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme in communication, journalism, international relations, public administration, English or translation studies (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent)
• Computer literate in standard word processing and spreadsheets software applications (Microsoft Word and Excel or similar)
• Good knowledge of editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred) and standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.

Languages Required: English

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.

Contract Duration: 2 to 6 months

Work Modality: in person internship, remote and or part time can be accommodated

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
