Overview
Provide support to integrate gender equality and Education in Emergencies & Protracted Crises (EiEPC) at global and country levels. Contribute expertise to UNGEI's global platforms and advocacy, and the Gender at the Centre Initiative (GCI).
Tasks Summary
- Integrate EiEPC into UNGEI platforms, forums and movements
- Include a crisis and resilience lens into the GCI initiative
- Support the inception phase of the GPE Gender Technical Assistance Initiative in Pakistan and Jordan
- Support UNGEI’s advisory roles in various fora
- Conduct a mapping of current and potential EiEPC members in UNGEI partnerships
- Develop and implement an outreach strategy to invite new EiEPC members
- Design and coordinate a dedicated Gender in EiEPC event/session
