Overview
Provide technical support to countries for integrating policy coherence considerations into NBSAP updates and implementation. Support the application of Whole-of-Government and Whole-of-Society approaches.
Tasks Summary
- Provide technical support to countries for integrating policy coherence considerations into NBSAP updates and implementation
- Roll-out survey/assessments of whole-of-government (WoG) and whole-of-society (WoS) approaches, including interviews
- Organize and deliver virtual peer-to-peer sessions for countries to exchange experiences on WoG and WoS implementation of NBSAPs
- Prepare recommendations for countries to apply effective WoG and WoS approaches, and criteria for assessment
- Provide substantive inputs for communications and outreach material, including case studies and analysis of policy alignment
- Prepare a final report summarizing actions, deliverables, and lessons learnt
Experience Requirements
- Experience in integrating policy coherence considerations into NBSAP updates and implementation
- Experience with Whole-of-Government (WoG) and Whole-of-Society (WoS) approaches
- Experience in policy development, analysis, and advocacy related to biodiversity conservation
Qualification Requirements
An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent degree) in environmental sciences, environmental law, natural resources management
