Overview

The Driver is responsible for driving Country Office Staff and visitors, and providing transportation-related and messenger services.

Tasks Summary

• Drive staff and visitors on official trips, observing safety rules and guidelines
• Meet staff and visitors at the airport, facilitate formalities, and log official trips
• Ensure day-to-day maintenance of assigned vehicle(s), perform minor repairs, and maintain cleanliness
• Handle formalities in case of an accident
• Check service dates and arrange for vehicle servicing
• Collect and deliver mail, documents, and other items

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a driver
• Flawless and safe driving record

Qualification Requirements

• Secondary school education
• Clean Driving Licence

Languages Required: English

Languages Preferred: other UN languages is a plus

Contract Duration: 11 months
