Overview

Provide legal and policy advice on finance/treasury matters, including funding, derivatives, and liquidity management, to safeguard AIIB's interests and ensure compliance.

Tasks Summary

• Provide legal and policy advice to Finance, Treasury & Controller, Risk Management, and other departments.
• Develop and maintain legal document templates.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other MDBs and development partners.
• Advise in the structuring of transactions, managing external counsel, drafting and negotiating documents, and handling signings and closings.
• Conduct research, write and present on legal issues, and draft and negotiate legal texts.
• Promote innovative approaches and simplify processes.
• Advise on the application of policies and procedures.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant post-qualification practice experience, at least part of which was spent preferably at a top-tier international law firm.
• Experience in working collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.

Qualification Requirements

An LLM degree or equivalent and qualified to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
