Overview

The Programme Associate will serve as the main focal point for capacity strengthening components of projects and support the overall management and implementation of initiatives for WFP Tajikistan.

Tasks Summary
  • Provide oversight on project implementation and improvement in cooperation with authorities and technical partners
  • Ensure coordination of capacity strengthening for communities to utilize digital technology and innovations
  • Initiate and coordinate outreach activities, conduct training workshops, seminars, and make presentations
  • Manage technical support of institutions and/or individual consultants
  • Develop and/or consolidate comprehensive reports, documentation, and briefing notes
  • Support coordination with government stakeholders, Cooperating Partners, and Field Offices
  • Lead monitoring missions and draft mission summaries/reports
  • Participate in steering committee meetings, progress update meetings with donors, and working group meetings
  • Engage at the technical level with line ministries and government entities
  • Support in preparing accurate and timely reports on projects and activities, including annual reports
  • Support in updating and revising CCARB project documents
  • Support the diversification of programming for the CCARB portfolio by developing concept notes
  • Support the development of strategy/implementation plans, standard operating procedures, and other guidance documents
  • Support in the technical review of potential partners’ project proposals
  • Provide inputs to reporting requirements and development of advocacy/communication materials
  • Support ESS focal point with reviewing ESS for construction/rehabilitation activities
  • Create food release notes, monthly distribution reports, and data completion reports
  • Preparation of CBT distribution reports and coordination with FSPs on accounts and cash distribution
  • Participation on CO CBT WG meetings and activities
  • Support with activities relevant to internal WFP processes and procedures
  • Support the implementation of the WFP Tajikistan Country Strategic Plan by ensuring cross-cutting efforts are integrated.
Experience Requirements

Experience in capacity strengthening components of projects and supporting overall management and implementation of initiatives.
