Overview
The Senior Digital Specialist will lead missions and supervise major digital development projects in the East Asia and Pacific region, with a focus on the Philippines and Pacific Island countries. The role involves interacting with clients at senior levels and contributing to the design and preparation of digital development programs.
Tasks Summary
- Lead missions and supervise major projects in the digital development sector as a technical expert
- Interact with clients at policy and senior management levels
- Organize and manage policy notes on digital development and policy evaluation
- Contribute to the design, preparation, and supervision of World Bank Group financed digital development-related investment and policy reform programs
- Advise clients on strategies, best practices, and program design for digital transformation policy and regulatory issues
- Provide technical expertise and advice on policy and regulatory issues to promote competition, private sector investment, and innovation in the digital economy sector
Experience Requirements
- Experience in leading missions and supervising major projects in the digital development sector
- Experience interacting with clients at policy and senior management levels
- Experience in organizing and managing policy notes on digital development and policy evaluation
- Experience in the design, preparation, and supervision of digital development-related investment and policy reform programs
- Experience advising clients on digital transformation policy and regulatory issues
- Experience providing technical expertise and advice on policy and regulatory issues to promote competition, private sector investment, and innovation in the digital economy sector
