Overview

Formulates and implements research and development activities and technical cooperation projects for isotope applications in water resource management. Contributes to research and development and serves as a planner and trainer for technical training related to the water resources programme.

Tasks Summary

• Review and analyse research publications related to isotope applications in hydrology
• Identify research gaps and formulate ideas for future research
• Formulate and implement technical cooperation projects
• Plan, organize and participate in seminars, workshops, missions and training courses
• Prepare materials for publication in relevant scientific publications
• Suggest research and development approaches in conjunction with laboratory activities

Experience Requirements

• Minimum two years of relevant experience at the national or international level in water resources management and the use of isotope techniques
• Experience in water resources management research

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hydrology, geosciences, natural resources management or related disciplines with proven background in the application of isotope techniques for water resources development and management
• Advanced University degree is an asset
