Overview

Provides specialized programme and administrative support to facilitate the development, implementation and monitoring of UNICEF's programmes. The role involves data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders.

Tasks Summary

• Facilitates programme development, implementation and monitoring
• Engages in data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination
• Exercises judgment, anticipates needs, and recommends actions
• Supports project management and implementing partnership coordination
• Manages data, analysis and reporting
• Oversees grant management, budget monitoring and reporting
• Contributes to digital innovation and operational efficiency
• Facilitates communication, knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement
• Supports capacity building and event coordination
• Provides flexibility and surge support

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required
• A bachelor’s degree may replace three years of related work experience
• A master’s degree may replace an additional two years
• Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is desirable
• Prior experience in programme support functions is an asset
• Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset

Qualification Requirements

• Completion of secondary education is required
• Preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset
