Overview
Supports the monitoring, evaluation, coordination, and implementation of operations, including administrative, financial, and human resources management for the Passenger and Cargo Control Programme.
Tasks Summary
- Support monitoring and review of operations, ensuring compliance with donor agreements and UN policies
- Prepare, coordinate, monitor, and report on the global programme budget
- Provide support for resource requirements, cost estimates, and budget proposals
- Administer and monitor resources, including agreements and fund utilization
- Prepare, analyse, and monitor budget forecasts and implementation
- Liaise with implementing partners on financial agreements and expenditure verification
- Contribute to oversight of human resources actions, including recruitment and contract extensions
- Provide administrative and financial guidance to the team
- Keep up-to-date on relevant documents and procedures
- Ensure legislative mandates are translated into actions
- Coordinate and guide administrative and financial staff
- Participate in field missions, providing guidance and training
- Collect and analyse data for planning and reporting
- Conduct training on administrative, finance, and human resources
- Participate in recruitment of administrative and finance staff
- Act as certifying officer
Experience Requirements
Experience in financial and human resources related principles and practices, particularly UN Financial Regulations and Rules.
