Overview
Provide technical support in the design of Pressurized Irrigation Systems and oversee the implementation of civil works for the Revival of Balochistan Water Resources Program.
Tasks Summary
- Design sustainable underground pipe conveyance irrigation systems and high efficiency irrigation systems
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates
- Prepare Technical Specifications (TS) for irrigation system components
- Provide training to Technical Working Group (TWG) members
- Prepare manuals for High Efficiency Irrigation Systems (HEIS) and Underground Pipe Conveyance Irrigation (UGPI) design guidelines
- Conduct field visits to assess progress and quality of construction/rehabilitation works
Experience Requirements
- Experience in designs of Pressurized Irrigation Systems (underground irrigation network, drip, bubbler, sprinkler, etc)
- Experience in rural infrastructure development
