Overview
Serves as the senior partnerships lead, managing and guiding partnerships officers. Develops and implements the partnerships strategy and leads donor and client coordination activities.
Tasks Summary
- Lead the development of a comprehensive partnerships development strategy
- Analyze country context and regional/national development landscape
- Identify key partners and position UNOPS strategically
- Foster a pipeline of opportunities
- Advise senior management team on strategy implementation and project development planning
- Research and analyze donor strategies, programming priorities, and political situations to identify funding opportunities
Experience Requirements
Senior Level; Senior Management Team experience; experience in partnerships development; experience in donor and client coordination; experience in programme development support; experience in liaising with national governments, UN system entities, donors, and NGOs.
