Overview

Provide monitoring, implementation, and coordination support for WFP projects in the field. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and programme implementation.

Tasks Summary

• Maintain collaboration with government counterparts and participate in coordination meetings.
• Provide monitoring, implementation, and coordination support for WFP projects.
• Verify field-level movements and distribution of items, resolving routine issues.
• Collect, compile, and analyze field-level programme data and prepare reports.
• Liaise with cooperating partners, government, internal counterparts, and community leaders.
• Suggest improvements to field-level monitoring processes and operational procedures.
• Arrange and participate in field-level meetings with partners.
• Allocate tasks to field staff, providing guidance and training.
• Provide trainings for cooperating partners on WFP operational practices.
• Record field-level data accurately and timely.
• Act as a point of contact for field-level operational queries.
• Support communication and coordination with local partners and agencies.
• Prepare detailed field mission reports.
• Follow emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Facilitate timely sharing of financial data and completion of financial reconciliation.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Five (05) years of relevant experience.
• Has facilitated communication with technical teams.
• Has contributed to implementation of programmes.
• Has observed or assisted with policy discussions.
• Has engaged in field coordination.

Qualification Requirements

• Completion of secondary school education (Advance Level).
• Post-secondary certificate in a related functional area is required.
• First university degree (bachelor’s degree) in a related area is desirable.
