Overview
The role supports medical officers and nurses in staff health and safety, and provides safe transportation via ambulance for health promotion, injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, emergency stabilization, and medical evacuations.
Tasks Summary
- Oversee front-desk activities at the clinic, including checking bookings, updating doctors, handling insurance claims, and processing invoices.
- Arrange internal meetings, take minutes, and disseminate them.
- Facilitate retrieval of staff records for the Cority Electronic Health Record system.
- Support onboarding of new PCC clients.
- Manage calendars for external meetings, book venues, and organize travel logistics.
- Organize and disseminate information on health activities.
- Manage clinic asset/inventory, including procurement and database entry.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for service records and calibration intervals of assets, including the ambulance.
- Provide transportation for PCC staff and patients, including medical supplies and emergency evacuations.
- Maintain the ambulance log book and report on mechanical status.
- Plan and coordinate ambulance maintenance, ensuring vehicles are equipped and authorized.
- Follow established rules and regulations for deliveries and accidents, reporting issues to the supervisor.
Experience Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in general administrative work.
- Three or more years of work experience as a Driver, preferably in an international organization, embassy, UN system, or medical institution with a demonstrated safe driving record.
- Experience in driving an ambulance.
- Experience in defensive driving is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Basic certification in Nursing and/or paramedical science.
- Formal drivers training with a valid driver’s license/certification to operate assigned vehicle following local rules and regulations.
