Overview
The Office Performance Assessment Specialist will support the assessment of annual workplan implementation, focusing on measuring Country and Regional Office performance. This role provides strategic guidance and technical support for performance monitoring and accountability.
Tasks Summary
- Monitor and track KPIs for WCARO and 24 Country Offices using corporate tools
- Support preparation of presentations on KPI status for management teams
- Manage tools such as the RMT tracker and ROMT tracker
- Support identification of performance issues and prepare alert messages
- Support implementation of SOPs for office performance management
- Support Country Offices to update missing information/data points, validation, and reporting of performance indicators
- Contribute to the adjustment of office performance indicators
- Support tracking of technical requests submitted by Country Offices to Centers of Excellence
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to RO sections and country offices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reported information
- Document lessons learned and good practices; facilitate experience sharing
- Assist in organizing and documenting meetings of regional UN platforms
- Support collection and consolidation of data/relevant information from Country Offices for regional UN reform reporting
- Support gathering and compilation of CO–level information on UN@80 initiatives
Experience Requirements
Experience in strengthening performance monitoring mechanisms and ensuring timely tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) across the region. Experience in improving systematic use of results-based management and strengthening office accountability. Experience in strengthening WCARO engagement in inter-agency (UNCT, etc.) and UN reforms discussions, including integrated planning, inter-agency coordination, roll-out of UN@80 components.
