Overview
Support the implementation of activities related to Regional Seas activities in East Asia, focusing on marine litter and plastic pollution.
Tasks Summary
- Organize meetings and events, including for COBSEA Task Force, Working Group on Marine Litter, and regional/international events
- Support implementation of regional initiatives on marine litter and plastic pollution, including pilot projects and knowledge-sharing platforms
- Assist with research for project development and proposals
- Conduct internal and external marine litter communication, including public outreach and content generation for website, newsletters, and presentations
- Support other tasks as required.
Experience Requirements
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study closely related to the internship is required.
Qualification Requirements
- Enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in natural science, social sciences, sustainable development, communication, or economic discipline OR
- Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent) OR
- Graduated with a university degree and commence internship within one year of graduation.
