Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Within the framework of Lebanon’s National Social Protection Strategy (NSPS), ENABLE contributes to Pillar 5: Economic Inclusion and Labour Activation, which aims to facilitate access to productive employment for vulnerable groups. The programme for the current phase includes the rehabilitation of several Social Development Centers (SDCs), with the purpose of ensuring that these centers are able to effectively deliver social services while being fully accessible and inclusive for persons with disabilities. The activities pertain to light construction works aiming at enhancing the accessibility of those SDCs to expand the outreach for the most vulnerable people, including persons with physical disabilities, elderly people The ILO seeks a national external collaborator with demonstrated expertise in accessibility and inclusive design for persons with disabilities (PwDs) to review existing designs for Social Development Centers and update them to ensure compliance with accessibility and universal design standards.
