UN Secretariat Procurement Notice: Establishment of a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) For Vehicle recovery services for UNIFIL in Lebanon.
1. The United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a requirement for the Establsihement of Long Term Agreement (LTA) for the for a Vehicle Recovery Services for all type of vehicles on "as and when required" basis operated by UNIFIL in Lebanon. 2. The initial term of the contract shall be for one (1) year with optional extension of its term for one (1) year period. 3. The Contractor shall ensure that all key personnel, including drivers and recovery equipment operators, are properly trained, certified, and briefed on applicable vehicle recovery procedures. Drivers and operators shall each have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant vehicle recovery experience. The Contractor shall provide written certification attesting qualifications, training, and demonstrated competency of all drivers and operators assigned to the services. 4. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining valid permits and insurance required for operations in Lebanon. 5. UNIFIL will undertake a competitive solicitation exercise shortly and consider inviting those companies have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement. 6.
