Overview
The intern will be responsible for performance-based management systems and data quality for food security indicators, data analysis, and reporting in the Yaoundé CCD. They will assist operations in ensuring timely delivery of plans and reports, and ensure compliance with IFRC PMER standards.
Tasks Summary
- Support consolidation, cleaning, validation, and basic analysis of survey and monitoring data
- Assist in tracking field activities against planned targets and monitoring enumerator/volunteer performance
- Support collection, documentation, and preliminary analysis of community feedback
- Contribute to PMER inputs for DREF updates and final reports
- Support documentation of lessons learned, good practices, and challenges
Experience Requirements
- Data collection and analysis
- Work or volunteer experience in the international humanitarian sector
- Experience in emergency planning, monitoring and reporting
- Experience of report writing (narrative and financial)
- Experience of working for the Red Cross/Red Crescent, particularly with National Societies
Qualification Requirements
- A degree in statistics, data science, Social Science or other relevant area
- Master’s degree in M&E, Economics or related disciplines and professional experience in M&E
