Overview
Ensure all support functions across operational areas provide high quality and efficient support for program implementation, regional teams, and regional projects. Oversee integrated and efficient delivery of country support services.
Tasks Summary
- Contribute to the Country Management Group, influencing decisions on support matters.
- Facilitate and coordinate the development of support function strategic objectives and action plans.
- Oversee re-centralization of support services to the country office and extension to regional teams.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Country Strategy, focusing on efficient systems and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide input on operational support in programme proposal development.
- Support the development and monitoring of support and country budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on strategic development of country structures.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of country support SOPs, guidelines, and tools.
- Line manage reporting staff, including performance management and staff development.
- Foster organisational learning in support thematics.
- Ensure compliance with NRC policies, guidance, and procedures for all support functions.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior management position, preferably within a humanitarian/recovery context with a background and expertise in Support functions. Experience in Logistics, budget development and costs allocation would be good.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or any other relevant field.
