Overview
The Sanitation Engineer (Drainage Project) reports to the Head of Brazil Office and will work in close collaboration with UN-Habitat’s operational and technical teams to support the implementation of the "Urban Qualification in a Key Neighborhood of Belo Horizonte" project.
Tasks Summary
- Analyze, review, and suggest adjustments in drainage basic projects and ensure compatibility with sewage and water network projects.
- Prepare reports and technical assessments on drainage projects.
- Analyze, review, and propose changes to technical drawings to ensure quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance to designers, planners, and engineers.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare necessary technical documents.
- Participate in meetings with the technical team.
- Perform other technical support tasks as required.
- Complete indicated courses and training activities, including the BSAFE security course within the first month.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in analyzing, reviewing, and suggesting adjustments in drainage basic projects and ensuring compatibility with sewage and water network projects.
- Experience in preparing reports and technical assessments on drainage projects.
- Experience in analyzing, reviewing, and proposing changes to technical drawings to ensure quality standards.
