Overview
Consultant to build trade-oriented Social Accounting Matrices (SAMs) for Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar to support a regional dynamic CGE model for trade analysis.
Tasks Summary
- Collect data for SAM development
- Set up methods for generating/updating/extending SAMs
- Generate SAMs for Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar
- Balance and harmonize the SAMs
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SAM and CGE
- Good knowledge and command of SAM building and CGE modeling techniques
- Prior experience in developing CGE models to GCC countries
- Prior experience working with or advising government ministries or policy institutions, especially in the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia is desirable
Qualification Requirements
• Master's degree in a specialized field of economics or a related field
