Overview
Ensures effective and timely processing of implementation actions and contributes to planning and monitoring project implementation for the Division for Africa.
Tasks Summary
- Contributes to project design by ensuring human resource implementation aspects are considered.
- Prepares implementation work plans for the Section.
- Ensures resource requirements and costs for human resource components are determined.
- Coordinates timely implementation of human resource activities for all projects.
- Distributes requests for experts, fellows, scientific visitors, and training courses.
- Monitors human resource implementation work plans.
- Analyses implementation statistics to identify issues and trends and recommends corrective action.
- Oversees processing of human resource implementation actions.
- Recruits experts, places fellows/scientific visitors, and arranges training courses.
- Acts as process leader for one implementation component, providing guidance and training.
- Reviews requests and administrative/financial arrangements for experts, fellows, scientific visitors, and training courses.
- Authorises and certifies administrative transactions and incurs obligations on behalf of the IAEA.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of six years of relevant working experience in a clerical/administrative position, some of which in an international organization. Experience in project or personnel administration and of processes and procedures in arranging training courses in various national circumstances.
Qualification Requirements
Completed secondary education.
