Overview

The Laboratory Technician will provide technical support for field, greenhouse, and cellular biology activities within the Plant Breeding and Genetics Laboratory.

Tasks Summary

• Prepares and conducts greenhouse and field experiments.
• Conducts routine in vitro plant cell and tissue culture experiments.
• Monitors and records data related to standard measurements.
• Maintains and operates standard laboratory equipment.
• Documents and inputs experimental results in database.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in working in a laboratory environment, preferably in an international setting.

Qualification Requirements

Completed secondary education.
