Overview

Supports coordination and implementation of activities, initiatives, events and tasks related to planning, monitoring, assessment and reporting for Major Programme 1, including Risk Management, OIOS services, External Audits, and Peaceful Uses Initiative projects. Additionally, supports operational arrangements related to the programme area.

Tasks Summary

• Provides support with coordination of programme planning and formulation, performance monitoring, programme assessment, evaluation and reporting, risk management.
• Assists in analyzing overall programme delivery and collects data to facilitate programme assessment and reporting on outputs and the achievement of outcomes.
• Assists in inter-departmental coordination during OIOS review services as well as external audits and provides updates on relevant recommendations.
• Supports the annual progress and mid-term reporting for Peaceful Uses Initiative projects.
• Acts as the departmental focal point for the acceptance of EB contributions, including vetting processes, preparation and dissemination of contribution agreements, pledge letters and other legal arrangements.

Experience Requirements

Minimum six years of relevant experience. Experience in the planning, implementation, monitoring and assessment of programmes and projects in a UN context would be an advantage.

Qualification Requirements

High School Diploma - Completed secondary education.
