Overview

The MEAL Assistant provides operational support to Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) functions for the EU-funded We Rise Together project. The role supports routine monitoring, data collection, data entry, accountability system management, documentation, field-level evaluation activities, and partner coordination.

Tasks Summary

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data for assessments.
• Conduct routine field monitoring visits using standardized MEAL tools.
• Use KoBo/ODK and other digital tools for data entry.
• Maintain systematic filing systems for datasets and reports.
• Support data cleaning, validation, and organization.
• Assist in DQA processes and partner verification tasks.
• Update indicator sheets, databases, and iMPAQ.
• Operate the FCRM system.
• Support documentation of success stories and lessons learned.
• Assist in preparing Learning Logs and learning products.
• Support external evaluators with field arrangements and logistics.
• Compile monitoring data and partner updates for reporting.
• Prepare charts, graphs, and summaries from datasets.
• Facilitate communication between MEAL focal points and the WVL team.

Experience Requirements

1–2 years of experience in MEAL, research, or project monitoring.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development, Statistics, or related field.
