Overview
The Grants Management Specialist will work with the grants team to ensure donor requirements are communicated, support new funding opportunities, and generate high-quality reports for ongoing projects.
Tasks Summary
- Analyze donor guidelines and grant agreements for reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to gather data for reports.
- Prepare draft narrative reports summarizing project progress.
- Verify information complies with donor regulations.
- Cross-check reports for accuracy and consistency.
- Manage submission timelines and ensure reports are submitted by deadlines.
- Maintain a calendar of reporting deadlines.
- Respond to donor queries.
- Archive submitted reports and correspondence.
- Maintain an organized system for report versions.
- Support in drafting proposal annexes and coordinating inputs.
- Support in identifying new opportunities and scheduling grant meetings.
- Support in developing communications materials for donors.
- Support in preparing donor briefs and project updates.
- Support in preparing kick-off and close-out meetings.
- Ensure project implementation plans have relevant grants information.
- Support in updating DRC’s ERP system with grants information.
- Ensure departments are aware of key donor compliance information.
- Conduct training sessions on donor-specific reporting guidelines.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in grants management with donors such as ECHO, DMFA, OCHA, SIDA, amongst others.
- Experience in both humanitarian and development contexts.
Qualification Requirements
Master’s degree in administration, international relations, or another relevant field
