Internship opportunity to support the Sustainable Development and Natural Resources Unit in analyzing social, economic, and environmental data related to climate financing, climate change, and value chains.

Tasks Summary

• Elaborating literature reviews on climate and green financing in agriculture.
• Reviewing national documents and data on agricultural emissions, climate change adaptation and mitigation policies, and prospective analysis.
• Data collection and analysis on financing, emissions, and other relevant topics in agriculture.
• Support other ongoing projects in the Unit, including agricultural value chains, bioeconomy, and rural development.
• Exchanging findings and ideas with colleagues.
• Proposing new or emerging topics.

Experience Requirements

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

Languages Required: Fluency in Spanish or English is required.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: The internship is not paid.
