Overview
The Communication Officer supports the Myanmar Program by ensuring effective communication and compliance in project reporting. This role is responsible for developing donor visibility materials, including success stories, and providing regular updates through situation reports.
Tasks Summary
- Develop success stories by coordinating with program and grant teams to ensure donor visibility requirements are met.
- Monitor project timelines, scope, and visibility requirements to keep communication materials on track and compliant.
- Lead the preparation of situation reports on a quarterly basis or as needed, providing timely updates on program activities.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information, data, and stories, ensuring accuracy and consistency across communications.
- Translate materials from Myanmar to English to support the development of stories, reports, and other donor submissions.
- Stand ready to respond to urgent communication requests by preparing ad-hoc presentations, updates, or donor materials under tight deadlines.
- Support further strategic communication planning by assisting the Communication Coordinator in implementing strategies that enhance program visibility and impact.
