Youth Council Prilep Prilep, North Macedonia Volunteer opportunity: Individual Volunteering Project for Youth II
1 volunteer are needed to take part in short-term accredited volunteering project in duration of 30 activity days in Prilep, North Macedonia. The project is implemented by Youth Council Prilep. The volunteer will be actively involved in daily work in the office of the organization, through which they will have an opportunity to show and improve their own competences, develop sense of initiative, gain new skills and get new knowledge through organizing and realizing different activities (recording radio podcasts, organizing workshops, presentations, courses, sports, games, plays, lectures, meetings with local volunteer team). Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The volunteer will be accommodated in an apartment in Prilep, Macedonia. Each month the volunteer will receive allowances for food and pocket money, on Macedonian bank account. Also, the costs for rent of the apartment, bills for electricity and water will be covered by the Youth Council Prilep. Travel costs will be refunded according to Distance Band Calculator of Erasmus + programme, green travel is predicted to be used for all volunteers involved in the project. Youth Council Prilep team will assist selected volunteers to organize their green travel in a best way. Training during the activity Volunteer will have an opportunity to participate at On-arrival training organized by Macedonia National Agency (if arrived in the time before the training will be organized by NA). During the activity, volunteers will receive Macedonian language training classes. The volunteers will have the opportunity to be engaged in local training and workshops organized by Youth Council Prilep. Participant profile Candidates should be motivated, flexible, patient, creative, open-minded, self-initiative, communicative, interested to work with youth and they should be able to speak basic English . Future volunteers should bring in her/his own ideas into the project and be prepared to create, plan and implement her/his own projects. The call is open for two volunteers with fewer opportunities, (1 volunteer coming from EU countries with distance band of 500-1999 km to Prilep, N.Macedonia and 1 In-Country volunteer) (predicted countries are mentioned in this call).
