Overview

This internship focuses on designing and developing interactive dashboards, supporting knowledge repository management, and analyzing data to enhance environmental governance support.

Tasks Summary
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Support the management and optimization of the Subprogramme's SharePoint knowledge repository.
  • Analyze Member State reporting data.
  • Create data visualization materials and infographics.
  • Support the development of automated reporting workflows.
  • Document knowledge management processes and develop user guides.
  • Assist in quality assurance and data validation processes.
  • Support the team in preparing materials for high-level meetings.
Experience Requirements

No working experience is required. However, proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with SharePoint administration and content management, experience with data analysis and statistical methods, understanding of database management principles and data quality assurance practices, and strong research and analytical skills are highly desirable.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate school program (Master's degree or equivalent, or higher) or the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, International Relations, or related field. Alternatively, applicants must have graduated with a university degree and commence the internship within one year of graduation.

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
