Overview

The IT Applications Developer intern will assist in developing and customizing applications, designing and supporting databases, and analyzing requirements for automation solutions to support human rights initiatives and internal processes.


Tasks Summary
  • Assist in developing and customizing applications using C# / ASP.NET / .NET stack / HTML / Javascript / React / Node.js, Telerik Kendo UI libraries
  • Assist in developing and customizing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Design, support, migrate databases (MS SQL)
  • Analyze requirements and design automation solutions
  • Explore options to enhance development using Azure DevOps / Azure Cloud Data capabilities and automated pipelines
  • Collaborate with developers to create technical solutions
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance
  • Document technical processes, user guides, and training materials
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and provide user assistance
  • Stay informed about IT automation and Microsoft technologies trends
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience Requirements

Experience in database management, process automation, and application development.


Qualification Requirements

Currently enrolled in the final academic year of a first-level university degree program (Bachelor's degree or equivalent); enrolled in a graduate school program (Master's degree or equivalent, or higher); or have completed an aforementioned academic degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Licenses and certificates are not mandatory, but would be an asset.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 2- 6 months
