Overview
Asociada(o) en Gestión de plásticos (Office-Based) will support the implementation of initiatives for the integral management of plastics in the productive sector, coordinate inter-institutional efforts, and monitor project progress.
Tasks Summary
- Implement activities for the integral management of plastics in the food and beverage sector.
- Support the development and implementation of innovative business models for plastic management.
- Contribute to the technical development of public policies, tools, and knowledge management materials.
- Identify and coordinate meetings, alliances, and collaborations with strategic partners.
- Support the development of a platform for the integral management of plastic waste.
- Prepare technical and progress reports on implemented activities.
- Promote principles of Human Rights, gender equality, and the contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Participate in training and organize information sessions.
- Support the dissemination and exchange of relevant data and lessons learned.
Experience Requirements
• Minimum 7 years (with High School certificate) or 4 years (with Bachelor's Degree) of relevant professional experience in plastic and/or waste management, alternative bio-based materials to plastic, circular economy, production, responsible consumption, and/or biomass utilization.
Qualification Requirements
- High School certificate (Bachillerato en secundaria) is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Exact Sciences, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields is favorably considered but not a requirement.
