Overview

The Communication and Social Media Intern will assist in the daily management of UNDP Careers Social Media platforms and contribute to content strategy planning and analysis.

Tasks Summary

• Assist in the daily management of UNDP Careers Social Media platforms, posting and answering queries.
• Collaborate in the planning of the content strategy for UNDP Careers social media outlets.
• Collaborate in identifying testimonials from UNDP staff and creating stories.
• Assist collecting data and analyzing the impact of the content strategy.
• Support reporting to external partners on communications results.
• Conduct research for various best practices.
• Support to any ad hoc activities related to TAPP activities.

Experience Requirements

• Prior experience working in social media is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Apps (InDesign, Illustrator or Premiere Pro) will be an asset.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently in the final year of a bachelor’s degree; or
• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree; or
• Have graduated no longer than 1 year ago from a master’s degree or equivalent studies.
• Field of study: Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Political Science, or related field.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required

Languages Preferred: Good working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: Monthly stipend to cover costs associated to the internship. For Copenhagen, this stipend is an equivalent of $1000 per month (exact amount to be confirmed).
