Overview

Support the GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP) with a focus on workshop organization, project monitoring, document translation, and communication with NGO partners.

Tasks Summary

• Support workshops/training organized by the team;
• Support project monitoring and evaluation related documents including project reports and publications;
• Translate, proofread, and edit SGP related documents;
• Draft and update project information on internal database and website;
• Maintain regular communication with NGO partners via email;
• Support content review and publication of NGO partner materials on social media and other outreach platforms;
• Attend meetings and draft meeting minutes;
• Assist with administrative and financial actions related to project recruitment and procurement;
• Perform other ad hoc assignments as required by the team.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems;
• General understanding of the work of NGOs, environmental sustainability and international development issues.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree;
• Master’s degree in environment or international development is desirable;
• Applicants must be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme, or the final academic year of a first university degree programme, or have recently graduated with a university degree and start the internship within one-year of graduation, or be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English language.

Languages Preferred: • Familiarity with social media platforms, content publishing, and basic design tools is an asset.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: • Interns may be given a stipend according to the UNDP Internship Policies, if is not financially supported by any institution or programme, such as a university, government, foundation or scholarship programme.
