Overview
The consultant will support UNICEF Guinea's efforts in leveraging opportunities from the private sector and influencing private sector business practices to advance child rights in Guinea.
Tasks Summary
- Update database of key companies and contacts from the private sector for engagements and resource mobilization, including analysis of Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Develop company profiles, including policies in support of understanding impact and relevance for children, and briefing notes for private sector engagements.
- Provide analysis of engagement opportunities for UNICEF, identifying key entry points with the private sector and influencers.
- Develop and implement private sector partnership engagement and resource mobilization plans for 2026-2028.
- Develop communications products, business cases, and briefs for the private sector to enhance UNICEF’s visibility and influence.
- Organize private sector roundtables or one-on-one or thematic engagements.
- Develop Terms of Reference for a Chief Executive Officer council and support its establishment and organization of one meeting.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in Corporate Social Responsibility strategies, particularly with mining companies, private sector partnership and engagement, institutional fundraising and content marketing for social organizations, liaison and/or any resource-mobilization related activities, preferably in an international organization.
- Experience in private sector resource mobilization and business for results skills.
- Capacity to work under pressure and deliver quality inputs to meet deadlines.
- Strong private sector engagement skills and writing skills.
Qualification Requirements
An Advanced university degree (Master) in international development, public affairs, international relations, political science in communication, Social Sciences, development studies or another related field.
