Overview

This role involves contributing to research on economic, social, and environmental issues affecting the World of Work and the Future of Work, with a focus on data analysis and knowledge product development.

Tasks Summary
  • Contribute to working papers and other knowledge products through analysis and drafting.
  • Conduct big data analysis based on econometric and machine learning techniques.
  • Prepare and analyze cross-country labour force data.
  • Organize and share developed Python code for skills and variable generation.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests concerning code and related analyses.
  • Modify figures and tables for inclusion in regional briefs.
  • Develop concepts for obtaining and merging future data.
  • Contribute to the communication strategy and launch of the upcoming Flagship Report.
Experience Requirements

At least five years of relevant experience, including quantitative analyses, with proven record of contribution to research and publications.

Qualification Requirements

Advanced level university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in economics or other relevant field, including data science fields. A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) with an additional two years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Other Details

Languages Required: Excellent command of English.

Languages Preferred: A working knowledge of a second official language (French, Spanish) of the Organization would be an asset.
