Overview
Support the development and maintenance of project databases, data collection, and reporting tools. Ensure accuracy and compliance with data protection principles.
Tasks Summary
- Support the development and/or maintenance of a database for project activities and beneficiaries’ data.
- Support field staff on data collection and entry, and provide end-user support on IM data collection tools.
- Compile, clean up, validate, and process collected data.
- Keep Information Management (IM) tools up to date and contribute to process improvement.
- Ensure monitoring and reporting tools include donor-requested indicators and function properly.
- Support the development and/or maintenance of SOPs related to IM and ensure compliance with IOM policies and donor requirements.
- Support the development of a common Information Management strategy with the implementing partner.
- Consolidate and prepare reports for Senior Management, donors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and validity of beneficiaries’ personal data in compliance with IOM Data Protection Principles and GDPR.
- Contribute to capacity-building activities, including trainings for field staff on data protection, collection, storage, sharing, and relevant tools.
Experience Requirements
- High school degree/certificate with three years of relevant work experience; or
- University degree/certificate in System Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with one year of relevant work experience.
- At least one year of previous work experience.
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with at least five years driving experience an advantage.
Qualification Requirements
- High school degree/certificate
- University degree/certificate in System Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science or a related field from an accredited academic institution
- Master’s degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage.
