Overview

Serves as the point of contact between IRC Kansas and community partners, assists with community event setups, and refers volunteer inquiries. Conducts initial client intakes to assess basic needs and provide referrals. Provides administrative support to staff.

Tasks Summary
  • Welcome staff, clients and guests.
  • Answer or refer inquiries from clients and guests.
  • Conduct initial intakes to find out client needs.
  • Support efforts to link clients with appropriate services.
  • Assist with community engagement programs.
  • Engage with vendors for office supplies and related materials.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of directly related professional experience required.
  • Experience working directly with clients and customers through external-facing, customer service-related position.
Qualification Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Languages Preferred: • proficiency in language(s) spoken by client group is desired

Contract Duration:

Work Modality: Standard office environment

Remuneration: Pay Range: $20 - $21.50
