Overview
The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of IRC staff, visitors, documents, and/or goods/materials to designated destinations. This role also involves the care and maintenance of IRC vehicles.
Tasks Summary
- Transporting IRC staff, visitors, documents and/or goods/materials to designated destinations.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of IRC personnel and materials.
- Caring for and maintaining IRC vehicles and their accessories.
- Representing IRC in a professional manner.
- Adhering strictly to IRC’s vehicle policies and procedures.
- Conducting daily and pre-long distance vehicle checks.
- Accurately upkeep of the vehicle’s log sheet.
- Maintaining the vehicle clean, fueled and mechanically sound.
- Inspecting and maintaining all vehicle accessories.
- Advising the Fleet manager of pending inspections, insurance renewal or any defects or problems.
Experience Requirements
Minimum two years’ work as a professional driver.
Qualification Requirements
- Valid driving license.
- Basic computer skills.
