Overview

The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of IRC staff, visitors, documents, and/or goods/materials to designated destinations. This role also involves the care and maintenance of IRC vehicles.

Tasks Summary

• Transporting IRC staff, visitors, documents and/or goods/materials to designated destinations.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of IRC personnel and materials.
• Caring for and maintaining IRC vehicles and their accessories.
• Representing IRC in a professional manner.
• Adhering strictly to IRC’s vehicle policies and procedures.
• Conducting daily and pre-long distance vehicle checks.
• Accurately upkeep of the vehicle’s log sheet.
• Maintaining the vehicle clean, fueled and mechanically sound.
• Inspecting and maintaining all vehicle accessories.
• Advising the Fleet manager of pending inspections, insurance renewal or any defects or problems.

Experience Requirements

Minimum two years’ work as a professional driver.

Qualification Requirements

• Valid driving license.
• Basic computer skills.
