Overview

The Immigrant Youth English Cafe Intern will support the Miami-Dade-based Immigrant Youth team in delivering services to immigrant children and their families by facilitating and leading the online English Café initiative.

Tasks Summary

• Lead conversational English skills for youth and adults.
• Be punctual with a high sense of responsibility.
• Prepare the topic, materials and talking points for each session.
• Plan and schedule the English Café.
• Lead several weekly English Café sessions.
• Assist with creating a promotional campaign to engage clients in the English Café.
• Assist with outreach to local organizations to help establish partnerships within the community.
• Help with data collection and tracking related to the English Café attendance.
