Overview
The Project Coordinator will work to facilitate collaboration, address implementation challenges, and support the achievement of project results. The role will contribute to promoting gender equality, disability inclusion, and climate-sensitive approaches in regional implementation.
Tasks Summary
- Facilitate collaboration with regional government bureaus, Amref Health Africa, and local implementing partners.
- Address implementation challenges.
- Support the achievement of project results.
- Contribute to promoting gender equality, disability inclusion, and climate-sensitive approaches in regional implementation.
- Support the delivery of survivor-centered interventions, community engagement, and peer education.
- Facilitate trainings and other project strategies.
- Ensure quality implementation and contribute to inclusive and sustainable project outcomes at regional level.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in regional project management.
- Strong sectoral expertise on SRHR, CP/GBV, and related sectors.
- Good understanding of regional context.
- Experience of working on complex projects that involves diversified local implementing partners.
- Knowhow of SRH and GBV strategies/policy frameworks, teenage pregnancy roadmap, child marriage, FGM.
Qualification Requirements
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Project Management, Reproductive Health, Sociology, Development studies, or related field.
