Overview

Support the International Trade Centre (ITC) in implementing and delivering activities related to the MSME Diagnostic and Benchmarking Platform for the TRANSFORM and Youth Startup Academy Colombia projects.

Tasks Summary
  • Prepare and deliver training materials and logistics for a 2-day training on business competitiveness.
  • Organize logistical aspects of face-to-face training, including agenda, venue, travel, and communication.
  • Prepare and translate training materials into French, including user guides and presentations.
  • Adapt and customize diagnostic and benchmarking models for specific sectors.
  • Support partner Business Support Organizations (BSOs) in developing, validating, translating, and uploading customized diagnostic questionnaires.
  • Provide technical support and capacity building to BSOs on using the platform and onboarding SMEs.
  • Present the MSME Diagnostic and Benchmarking Platform to beneficiary SMEs and BSOs.
  • Provide continuous technical and advisory support to beneficiary SMEs and partner BSOs.
  • Monitor and report progress on diagnostic implementation.
  • Prepare mission and final reports including information on participants, results, and activities.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience in supporting SMEs, especially from developing and least developed countries in areas as competitiveness, general management, economic development, stakeholder management, project management.
  • Experience with developing training materials desirable.
Qualification Requirements
  • Advanced university degree in business management, business administration, international trade, or economics and development or a related field.
  • Alternatively, enrollment in or recent graduation from a graduate school program in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chains - Logistics, Sustainability or a related field, combined with relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree.

Languages Required: • Fluency in English and French is required.
