Overview

The Project Manager (Technology) will coordinate the successful delivery, onboarding, and operational integration of Giga's technology tools and services in countries where Giga operates.

Tasks Summary

• Serve as the main point of contact for implementation partners, providing hands-on support to technical users.
• Support early-stage conversations by clearly positioning the value of Giga’s technology tools and services.
• Design onboarding flows and develop tailored delivery strategies for each country or partner type.
• Manage multiple implementation projects, maintaining clarity on milestones, dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate across Giga’s technology team, business teams and operational teams.
• Support onboarding processes for external partners, stakeholders, and users.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide practical guidance.
• Maintain accurate trackers, SOPs and documentation.
• Capture delivery lessons learned and propose process improvements.
• Guide partners through the end-to-end steps required to deploy, configure, or integrate Giga’s tools.
• Ensure partners understand how to use Giga tools and can operationalize their value.
• Deliver briefings and walkthroughs to illustrate each tool or service value proposition.
• Track usage, identify adoption gaps or bottlenecks, and work with internal teams to support partners.
• Develop high-quality guidance, training, and “how to use this product” explainers.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing technology implementation, digital product deployments, data-driven projects, or multi-stakeholder initiatives in government, international development, or GovTech environments.
• Proven experience in project management and coordination of complex projects involving technical teams, external partners, and government stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience working with data workflows, dashboards, or other data processes (e.g., data ingestion, validation, user onboarding).
• Experience delivering training, onboarding, or technical capacity-building for diverse audiences.
• Experience with digital public goods, open-source tools, or large-scale digital deployments.
• Experience in international or multi-country contexts is an asset.
• Experience with connectivity, GIS, monitoring systems, or data validation workflows is an advantage.

Qualification Requirements

• A Master’s degree in public policy, international development, data science, engineering, information systems, economics, or another relevant field.
• A first-level university degree combined with two additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
