Overview

The intern will support the Third Country Solutions Unit (3CSU) in expanding third country solutions globally, including preparations for the Consultations on Resettlement and Complementary Pathways (CRCP) in June 2026.

Tasks Summary

• Attend pre CRCP virtual meetings, including Working group meetings.
• Support preparations and follow-up for the CRCP meeting and its working group, including bilateral meetings.
• Responsibilities include note taking, drafting, document preparation, support drafting of the final report, logistics, and managing technical requirements for participants.
• Bring new ideas to contribute to the CRCP process.
• Liaise with government officials, NGOs, refugees, and civil society.
• Liaise with other colleagues within the 3CSU.
• Support the design and presentation of content for the UNHCR CRCP Digital platform.
• Follow up with archiving of key content.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Recent graduate (completed studies within two years of applying) or current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from an accredited university or higher education facility.
• Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

Languages Preferred: • Working knowledge of French would be an asset

Remuneration: • Interns who do not receive financial support from an outside party will receive an allowance to partially help to cover the cost of food, local transportation and living expenses.
