Overview

The Project Clerk - Government Support will provide assistance to project activities under the supervision of the Project Coordinator. The role involves supporting the implementation and monitoring of project activities and coordinating with various partners.

Tasks Summary
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities;
  • Provide assistance and support to the coordination of work with government, civil society partners, private sector entities and academic institution;
  • Administrative support - Identify and track follow-up actions; support travel, data collection and procurement actions as requested;
  • Support the operational, administrative and procurement aspects of the ongoing project as required;
  • Provide administrative support to meetings, workshops, seminars and conferences;
  • Support the reception and reintegration of forcibly returnees in coordination with the local actors and the state coordinator;
  • Support the developing and dissemination of informational materials;
  • Support with text editing, proofreading and translation to ensure quality of IOM products and materials;
  • Assist in performing various assignments, by planning, organizing, managing logistics, and facilitating different events and activities in their administrative and organizational aspects;
  • Perform other work-related tasks, as required.
Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
  • University degree in social sciences, political sciences, psychology law, public policy, health or a related field from an accredited academic institution with a minimum of one (1) year of experience.
  • Experience in translation and revision of technical and business documents;
  • Experience in technical writing, editing, and reporting;
  • Experience in administrative activities and processes.
  • Previous experience in an operations unit at an international organization is an advantage.
  • Experience with project reporting
Qualification Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • University degree in social sciences, political sciences, psychology law, public policy, health or a related field from an accredited academic institution

Languages Required: Portuguese (advanced)

Languages Preferred: English (advanced); Spanish (advanced)
